Akandu Oliver Obinna is a graduate of Accountancy with Upper credit from Federal Polytechnic, Oko. He is an Associate of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Member Nigeria Institute of Credit & Risk Management. He has over 12 years of work experience that cut across the Oil and gas and Banking sectors.

He started his career in the Finance and Accounts Departmentt of PPMC; a subsidiary of NNPC, at Mosimi Depot, Ogun state where he did his one year compulsory NYSC program. He was among the successful ones the company retained and he worked with PPMC for over three years. He later joined UBA Plc and worked as a Resident Control Officer for many years.

Thereafter, he joined Ascon Oil Co Limited where he worked in many capacities in the Finance & Accounts Dept including the company’s Warri branch Accountant for over five years. He later joined Resort Savings & Loans Plc (Mortgage Banker). He started in the Internal Control & Audit of the bank. January, 2014, he was transferred to the Risk Management Dept where he worked till April, 2015.

He joined NorthBridge Energy Limited as Group Accountant/Finance Manager in May, 2015. He has attended various trainings and courses in both banking and oil and gas.
